Tanks, missiles, and UAVs appear for the first time and will be present in the National Day parade2

Modern military equipment including tanks, missiles, UAVs, artillery... will participate in the parade on the occasion of the 80th National Day, appearing for the first time at the general training session at the National Military Training Center 4, Hanoi.

On the morning of July 17, a rehearsal for the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (first time) was held with the participation of more than 15,600 officers and soldiers from the armed forces.

Notably, for the first time, the equipment including special vehicles, missiles, tanks, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artillery... of the Vietnam People's Army serving the parade has officially appeared.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Minister of National Defense , said: After 40 years (since 1985), the parade through Ba Dinh Square once again included military vehicles and special vehicles of the police force.

Besides the legendary tanks and missiles in the nation's resistance wars such as T54 and T55 tanks, Scud-B missiles, self-propelled artillery..., this is also an opportunity for the most modern and advanced weapons of our army to be introduced to the public.

These include: T90 tanks, Truong Son VCM-01 missile system (researched and produced by Viettel ), and many modern UAV unmanned aerial vehicles researched and manufactured by Vietnam itself...

The equipment appeared at the training session.
