Minister Do Duc Duy was warned, proposed to discipline former Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien

Minister of Agriculture and Environment Do Duc Duy was warned by the Politburo for violations causing serious consequences. Former Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien was proposed for disciplinary action.

On July 17, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, after considering the Central Inspection Committee 's proposal on disciplining violating party members, the Politburo found that:

Mr. Do Duc Duy, member of the Party Central Committee , member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Minister of Agriculture and Environment, during his tenure as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing his assigned duties and tasks.

Violating the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; violating regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, bad public opinion, reducing the prestige of the party organization and the agency or unit.

During her tenure as member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Minister of Health , Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien had degraded political ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

Violating Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; violating regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and very negative impacts on the reputation of the Party organization and the working agency and unit.

Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, and cause of the violation; according to the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Politburo decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Do Duc Duy and submit to the Party Central Committee for consideration and disciplinary action against Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien according to its authority.

Propose that competent authorities promptly enforce administrative discipline in line with party discipline.
