Disciplinary action against the principal of Trung Vuong Primary School for violations regarding boarding meals

On November 21, the Party Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat announced that it had disciplined groups and individuals related to violations in organizing meals for 750 students of Trung Vuong Primary School in the 2024-2025 school year.

Specifically, disciplinary action was taken against the Party Committee of Trung Vuong Primary School and the following individuals: Party Secretary, Principal Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga; Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Principal Nguyen Thi Hong Tham; Party Committee member, teacher Tran Anh Quoc.

The Party Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat said that the Standing Committee has reviewed the responsibilities and violations of the Party Cell of Trung Vuong Primary School and concluded to discipline at the level of warning.

Regarding Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga - Party cell secretary, Principal, the Party Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat concluded that Ms. Nga violated the working regulations, the principles of democratic centralism, criticism and self-criticism, lacked inspection, and failed to promptly prevent violations within the scope of management, leading to the school violating Party regulations and the law when organizing boarding. Therefore, the Party Committee of the ward decided to discipline Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga by removing her from all positions in the Party for the 2025 - 2027 term.

For Vice Principal Nguyen Thi Hong Tham and teacher Tran Anh Quoc, the Party Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat disciplined them with a reprimand.

The above individuals will be subject to administrative discipline by the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, in conjunction with Party discipline. The administrative disciplinary measures will be implemented later.

Invested in a new kitchen for boarding students

As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , on September 16, the boarding kitchen team for the 2024-2025 school year and some parents accused Trung Vuong Primary School of bringing substandard food into the kitchen, affecting the meals of 750 students.

On the evening of September 19, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan directed to resolve the matter completely, requesting the Department of Health and the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat to inspect and rectify the entire province's school meal work.

After that, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat temporarily suspended the Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School, Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga, to clarify the incident.

Recently, Trung Vuong Primary School has reopened its boarding meals for students, after investing comprehensively in a nutritional kitchen according to the standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training .
