Border guards urgently evacuated people at night

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Implementing the telegram No. 14/CD-UBND, dated August 24, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on focusing on immediately implementing urgent tasks to respond to storm No. 5, on the night of August 24 and early morning of August 25, 2025, Hai Hoa Border Guard Station coordinated with local Party committees and authorities of wards in the area to organize propaganda and mobilize the evacuation of coastal households at risk of danger to people and property when storm No. 5 makes landfall.

By 2:30 a.m. on August 25, 2025, 44 households/152 people in Tinh Gia, Hai Linh and Tan Dan wards had mobilized and relocated assets and people to safe storm shelters. Currently, the unit continues to deploy forces to coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to review households at risk of insecurity to mobilize them to relocate to safe storm shelters.

At the same time, at Sam Son Border Guard Station, the unit coordinated with local authorities to evacuate and relocate 91 households/260 people and people's property to schools, cultural houses, and areas with solid houses to ensure people's safety.
