Lang Son Provincial Border Guard handed over the positions of Commander and Political Commissar

NDO - According to information from the Lang Son Border Guard, on the afternoon of April 6, the Party Committee and Command of the Lang Son Border Guard held a conference to announce the decision to hand over the positions of Commander and Political Commissar. Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Border Guard attended and directed the conference.

According to the decisions on personnel of the Ministry of National Defense , Colonel Ninh Van Hop ceased to hold the position of Commander of the Lang Son Border Guard to retire according to the regime; Colonel Dao Quoc Thao, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Lang Son Border Guard, was temporarily appointed to hold the position of Commander of the Lang Son Border Guard.

Also according to the decisions, Colonel Trinh Huu Tang ceased to hold the position of Political Commissar of Lang Son Border Guard to retire according to the regime; temporarily appointed Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of Lang Son Border Guard to hold the position of Political Commissar of Lang Son Border Guard.

The Political Commissars and former Political Commissars of Lang Son Border Guard signed the handover decision.

The conference also announced the following decisions: Lieutenant Colonel Leu Minh Tien, Deputy Chief of Staff of Lang Son Border Guard, holds the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Lang Son Border Guard; Colonel Luong Manh Vong, Political Commissar of Lang Son Border Guard, holds the position of Deputy Political Commissar of Lang Son Border Guard; Lieutenant Colonel Ninh Xuan Trong, Deputy Political Commissar of Lang Son Border Guard, holds the position of Political Commissar of Lang Son Border Guard.

In addition, the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee also decided to assign comrade Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Political Commissar of Lang Son Border Guard, to be in charge of the Lang Son Border Guard Party Committee until the completion of the leadership positions of the Lang Son Border Guard Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Commanders and former Commanders of Lang Son Border Guard signed the handover decision.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Border Guard, acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Colonel Trinh Huu Tang and Colonel Ninh Van Hop during their work, contributing to building a strong Lang Son Border Guard force, performing well the task of managing and firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the national border.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Border Guard, presented flowers to congratulate the comrades receiving the decision.
