Bach Long Vi Border Guard Station has closely coordinated with local authorities and ship owners to promptly inform them of the storm's developments. Thanks to that, the captains proactively moved and avoided the dangerous area. The unit sent officers and soldiers to coordinate with functional forces to safely tow 30 vehicles ashore. In addition, 22 vehicles with 184 workers were mobilized to the mainland to avoid the storm.
Officers and soldiers of Bach Long Vi Border Guard Station also regularly monitor forecasts on mass media and maintain on-duty duty as prescribed to update the situation quickly and accurately.

Cat Ba Border Guard Station mobilized all forces to inspect and strictly control inland waterway vehicles, tourist boats and fishing vessels operating in Cat Ba waters. With the spirit of storm prevention and control being an urgent task, the unit actively propagated, mobilized and guided nearly 500 vehicles operating at sea to safe anchorage and shelter. The station organized inspections and reviews of warehouse systems and protective works, ready to respond to any worst-case scenario that may occur.

Up to now, the basic means of transport have grasped the situation and developments of storm No. 9 and are moving to safe storm shelters. The Hai Phong City Border Guard continues to maintain 24/7 duty to closely monitor the developments of the storm, ready to deploy prevention, control, rescue and relief work when ordered.
Not only focusing on supporting fishermen and boats, the Hai Phong City Border Guard Command and its affiliated units proactively deployed storm prevention and control measures right at their offices and units. The work of securing houses and reinforcing key locations such as warehouses, residences and workplaces was carried out urgently. The unit also conducted an inventory of all materials and equipment for flood and storm prevention and search and rescue to ensure readiness for mobilization in emergency situations, minimizing damage to facilities and people.
