Asian Honda Motor has officially introduced “The MOVE by Honda”, the company’s first technology experience center in Thailand, located at EMSPHERE shopping mall in Bangkok. This is considered an important step in the strategy to expand into the electric vehicle sector and strengthen the brand image in this market.
The highlight of this space is two electric concept cars from the Honda 0 Series including Saloon and SUV. These are future-oriented models, demonstrating Honda's vision of design, technology and mobility solutions in the electrification era. Although the event focused on display and experience, Honda has not made an official announcement about distributing electric vehicles in Thailand.
However, a source from Headlightmag said that the company may introduce the Honda e:N2 model imported from China to this market, with the earliest possible launch date being late 2025. Previously, the Honda e:N1 model was brought to Thailand to survey market demand and prepare the dealer and service system. The launch of “The MOVE” is considered the next step in building the company’s image and familiarizing customers with electric vehicle technology.
Thailand is currently one of the largest automobile production and consumption centers in Southeast Asia, and is also a leading country in the region in terms of policies to promote electric vehicles. Setting up an experience center in Bangkok not only helps Honda reach potential customers, but also creates a foundation for the company to deploy electric vehicle products in the future.
