Provide direct guidance to citizens to ensure that procedures are completed quickly, efficiently, and within the stipulated timeframe.
This is not simply a support activity; it also demonstrates the synchronized coordination between the Border Guard, the Youth Union, and the local government. For the Youth Union members, this is an opportunity to promote their pioneering and volunteer spirit. For the government, it is a solution to reduce pressure and improve the efficiency of handling procedures. And for the soldiers, it is an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the military and the people, building a solid foundation of public support.
Previously, the people of Ca Mau only saw border guards stationed at checkpoints, patrolling the border, and maintaining security in the sea and islands. Now, they also see the army working alongside them in their daily lives. This is a concrete manifestation of the "people-centered" principle in the army's civilian outreach work; wherever the people need them, the army is there.
Mr. Ta Ly Thanh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Rach Tho hamlet, Dat Mui commune, shared: "Coordinating with the Border Guard officers in supporting people with administrative procedures is an opportunity for our Youth Union members to demonstrate our pioneering and volunteer spirit, while also learning the dedication, discipline, and approachability of the soldiers, contributing to spreading the spirit of serving the people."
Border Guard forces work closely with local authorities, going door-to-door to guide people in digital transformation, contributing to building an efficient administration that serves the people.
According to Mr. Do Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of the Dat Mui Commune Public Administrative Service Center, the support of the Border Guard has significantly reduced the Center's workload. Not only have they provided manpower, but they have also instilled trust and satisfaction in the people. This is an effective model that should be maintained and expanded in the future.
The Border Guard's involvement in public administration also contributes to increasing the people's trust in the government. Captain Luong Van Binh, Deputy Political Officer of Dat Mui Border Guard Station, said: "We believe that supporting the people in public administration is an integral part of our mass mobilization work. Wherever the people need us, the soldiers are there. This is a way to strengthen the close bond between the military and the people, build trust, and contribute to consolidating a transparent and effective public administration at the grassroots level."
