According to GSMArena , the latest leaked news shows that Samsung may equip the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Z Flip7 with Exynos chips, instead of Snapdragon chips like the previous generation.

Exynos chips will be present on Samsung's upcoming Z Flip models

According to information leak expert @yeux1122 on social network X, Galaxy Z Flip FE will use Exynos 2400e chip, a reduced version of Exynos 2400, to reduce product cost. Meanwhile, Galaxy Z Flip7 will be equipped with Exynos 2500 chip, a high-end chip that has not been launched by Samsung yet.

If this information is correct, this would be a notable change of strategy for Samsung. The current Galaxy Z Flip 6 uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, but it seems Samsung wants to prioritize using its own chips for the next foldable phone models.

The use of the Exynos 2400e for the Galaxy Z Flip FE makes sense, as it allows Samsung to offer a cheaper foldable phone to users. The Exynos 2400e has proven to be a powerful chip that can handle everyday tasks well, as seen on the Galaxy S24 FE.

However, the use of the Exynos 2500 for the Galaxy Z Flip7 could raise some concerns. There have been recent rumors about the Exynos 2500 having performance and temperature issues. Samsung is even said to be using the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for the entire Galaxy S25 series.
