At the conference, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Tran Thi Kim Hoa announced Decision 2582 dated October 30, 2024 of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province on accepting comrade Nguyen Duc Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Thang Binh District Party Committee to work at the Department of Information and Communications and appointing him to the position of Director of the Department of Information and Communications. The appointment term is 5 years, starting from November 4, 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Duc Binh expressed his joy and excitement when the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee trusted him with the new responsibility, taking on the position of Director of the Department of Information and Communications.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Binh said that this is a big challenge but at the same time an opportunity when working with the staff and civil servants of the Department of Information and Communications to bring their strength, intelligence, experience and enthusiasm to advise the provincial leaders on digital transformation, building digital platforms and effectively implementing integration, synchronization, sharing and improving the level of readiness in the digital environment; as well as the fields of telecommunications and press communications.

Also at the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hoa announced Decision 2541 dated October 25, 2024 of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province on the transfer of comrade Pham Hong Quang - Director of the Department of Information and Communications to work at the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, starting from November 4, 2024.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu congratulated comrades Nguyen Duc Binh and Pham Hong Quang on their new assignments. At the same time, on behalf of the provincial leaders, he acknowledged comrade Pham Hong Quang's contributions to the information and communications sector in recent times.
