Key personnel addition to Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of September 18, at the Conference of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee on preparations for the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee announced the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work.

At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet announced Decision No. 2295-QDNS/TW on personnel of the Party Central Committee. According to the above decision, the Party Central Committee Secretariat approved the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term for comrade Ho Thanh Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Board of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

With the above additions, after the merger, Ca Mau province has 4 Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, including comrades: Huynh Quoc Viet, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province; Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Thanh Ngai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized that the Central Government's addition of key personnel to the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee after the province's merger, and right before the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, is very timely, helping the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee have more key personnel to take on more important tasks, meeting the requirements of the new situation in the locality.

In his new position, the Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee hopes that comrade Ho Thanh Thuy will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, strengths, courage, intelligence, and join hands with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.

At the decision announcement ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy said that he will make every effort, with all his heart and soul, with the highest sense of responsibility, proactively and promptly grasp the implementation of new tasks, together with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the entire political system of the province to preserve and promote the good values, traditions, solidarity, unity and enthusiasm that previous generations have worked hard to cultivate.

Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy was born on May 19, 1975, in Ca Mau province. He officially joined the Party on December 29, 1998. Professional qualifications: Bachelor of Administration, Bachelor of Philosophy, Master of Party and Government Building. Political theory qualification: Senior. State management: Senior expert.

During the period from October 1995 to September 2005: Official of Chau Hung commune (Vinh Loi district), then office officer, Deputy Office of Vinh Loi District Party Committee, former Bac Lieu province. From October 2005 to June 2010: District Party Committee member, Chief of District Party Committee Office; Vice Chairman of Vinh Loi District People's Committee. From July 2010 to April 2015: Deputy Secretary, Standing Deputy Secretary of District Party Committee; Chairman of Vinh Loi District People's Council.

From May 2015 to October 2020: Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Lieu Province (old); Secretary of the Hoa Binh District Party Committee, Bac Lieu Province (old). From November 2020 to June 2021: Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee (old). From July 2021 to June 2025: Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee (old). From July 1, 2025 to September 5, 2025: Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee (new).
