Ministry of Finance appoints head of Department of Defense, Security, Special

(Dan Tri) - Mr. Dang Quyet Tien, Director of the Department of Accounting and Auditing Management and Supervision, was appointed Director of the Department of National Defense, Security, and Special Affairs.

On the afternoon of August 5, the Ministry of Finance held a conference to circulate decisions on transfers and appointments for the Director of the Department of National Defense and Security, especially the Director of the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Transfer Management and Supervision, and to introduce the Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance.

The decisions were signed and issued by the leaders of the Ministry of Finance on August 5.

Mr. Dang Quyet Tien, Director of the Department of Accounting and Auditing Management and Supervision, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Department of National Defense, Security, and Special Affairs.

This position was previously held by Mr. Phan Duc Dung. However, according to a previous announcement from the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Phan Duc Dung fell and died at the Ministry's office on July 25. The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Director of the Department of Tax, Fee and Charge Management and Supervision, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Department of Accounting and Audit Management and Supervision.

Mr. Phung Quoc Chi, Director of the Department of State Enterprise Development, was transferred and introduced to join the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance and introduced to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Head (full-time) of the Inspection Committee, Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance for the 2025-2030 term.
