Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers in Phu Tho

On the morning of July 21, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, and the Central Working Delegation visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers at the Nursing Center for Meritorious People in Phu Tho province.

Minister Luong Tam Quang donated wheelchairs to seriously wounded soldiers.

The delegation included comrade Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of Phu Tho province.

In a friendly conversation with the wounded soldiers, the Minister of Public Security emphasized: The Party, State and people always remember and are deeply grateful for the sacrifices of heroic martyrs and wounded soldiers for the independence and freedom of the nation.

The great sacrifices, losses and contributions of generations of fathers and brothers are the solid foundation for the peace , independence and development of the country today.

Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the Party and State always pay special attention to the families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the country. In his position, the Minister will work with central and local ministries, branches, and sectors to carry out many specific tasks to effectively operate the two-level local government apparatus; in which, the police and military forces are the core and frontline in ensuring political security, social order and safety, contributing to the overall development.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong affirmed: With the ethics of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Filial piety and charity", Phu Tho province will continue to pay attention to implementing policies for people with meritorious services, improving the quality of health care, material and spiritual life for wounded soldiers and families of martyrs.
