At the ceremony, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh congratulated the Institute's Board of Directors, including Director Nguyen Le Tuan, Deputy Directors Pham Van Loi; Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai; Vu Dinh Hieu, and the staff of the Institute of Environmental, Sea and Island Sciences, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment , and wished that the Institute would be a unified, united, and make efforts to always complete the tasks assigned by the Ministry.
Minister Dang Quoc Khanh shared that, according to the organizational structure and consolidation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, from two different units (Institute of Environmental Sciences - formerly under the General Department of Environment and Institute of Sea and Island Research - formerly under the General Department of Sea and Islands of Vietnam), now merged into the Institute of Environmental, Sea and Island Sciences, the Ministry's Executive Committee shares and hopes that the Institute's collective will work together to overcome the initial shortcomings and difficulties, quickly stabilize the organization to get to work, and complete the task well.
The Minister said that in the immediate future, the Institute will have a lot of work to do to streamline the organizational structure in a streamlined and efficient manner, but the Minister also believes in the fairness of the new Board of Directors in stabilizing personnel, creating a working atmosphere of enthusiasm, solidarity, consensus, and unanimity.
Minister Dang Quoc Khanh directed that in the coming time, the Institute must also research and implement additional training functions to enhance the Institute's position. At the same time, research work must be associated with solutions and digital transformation in the Natural Resources and Environment sector. Not only must the Institute perform its professional tasks well, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh also requested to coordinate with units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and localities to do a good job in scientific research on marine and island environmental resources.
The Minister encouraged the Institute's Board of Directors and staff to always share experiences, inherit, promote capacity, and devote themselves to the common cause. The Minister emphasized that the Institute's staff must remember that doing science requires having opinions, and that being a leader requires being responsible to superiors and to the Party. The Minister hopes that the Institute's collective will always be united, and that the leadership will always be objective and fair.
On behalf of the appointed comrades, the new Director Nguyen Le Tuan thanked the Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for their attention; thanked the synchronous coordination and support of his colleagues so that the Institute of Environmental, Sea and Island Sciences, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment could perfect its current apparatus and organization and be ready to embark on new tasks.
Seriously accepting the instructions of Minister Dang Quoc Khanh, the new Director Nguyen Le Tuan promised to constantly strive, be dedicated and devoted to his work; unite and unite with the collective of civil servants and employees of the unit to overcome all difficulties, excellently complete assigned tasks, each year better than the previous year.
