Training civilized tourism communication skills for people

On the morning of October 24, the Department of Tourism opened a training course to improve knowledge, communication skills, and civilized tourism behavior for nearly 50 students who are boat drivers, vendors, photographers, and tourism service providers of Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area.

In the training class, the trainees discussed and clarified the advantages and disadvantages in the current tourist service. From the analysis of real situations given by the lecturers, the trainees will have more knowledge and skills in communication and behavior to better meet the new requirements and demands in tourism activities.

Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area is located in Ninh Hai commune (Hoa Lu district), in the core area of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. Every year, Tam Coc - Bich Dong welcomes tens of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists.

In recent years, the number of tourists visiting here has increased rapidly, especially foreign tourists. Training and supplementing skills and knowledge for the workforce serving in tourism activities is very necessary.

Through the class, each resident in Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area will be aware of their role and responsibility in building a civilized and cultural tourism lifestyle. From there, they will better serve the needs of tourists, while continuing to spread the image of the friendly, gentle and hospitable people of the ancient capital to many domestic and international friends.

The class will take place over 3 days, from October 24-26 at Ninh Hai Commune Cultural House.
