The first day of school for first graders in Ha Giang city

According to the province's 2024-2025 school year schedule, starting from August 22, all first graders in Ha Giang city will return to school, 2 weeks earlier than the opening day of the new school year. According to records, basically all students in the city have gone to school.

At Minh Khai Primary School, parents brought their children to receive the school, class, and teacher very early. To make it convenient for parents to know which class their children are in, the school posted a notice listing the classes and class diagrams. Ms. Phuong, whose child is entering first grade this year, said that she was very nervous when she brought her child to school. To help her child get used to the new environment, she encouraged her child to feel secure and confident when going to class. Sharing the same sentiment as Ms. Phuong, parents who brought their children to class also stayed and recorded memorable images of their children during this first class.

The first day the children entered a new school, new friends, new teachers. In the first lesson, the teachers taught the children basic skills when entering grade 1. As a teacher with many years of experience in charge of grade 1 students, Ms. Tran Thi Nhan said that for the children entering grade 1, everything is new to them. So in the first lesson, she devoted all her time to helping the children get used to the new environment. Through the first day of school, the children will know the basic rules to enter grade 1.

At Tran Phu Primary School, despite the heavy rain, parents still brought their children to class from the beginning of the day. This school year, the school enrolled 182 first graders, divided into 5 classes. During the first day, teachers also taught the children the necessary skills when entering first grade.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Ha Giang city has over 1,100 first graders, divided into 36 classes. The Department of Education and Training said that primary schools will reopen for first graders on August 22. Quang Trung Primary School will reopen 1 week later because the school is under renovation. On the first day of school, many students are still confused about the new learning environment, but they all feel excited and well prepared for the new school year.

With a new school, new teachers, new friends, everything is new to first graders. However, with the love and dedication of teachers and the encouragement of their families, they will confidently enter a class with all the expectations for the beginning of their journey of learning to write in their student life.
