Signing loan trust contracts for poor households and policy beneficiaries

(CT) - On the afternoon of July 29, the Transaction Office of Binh Thuy Social Policy Bank held a signing ceremony of trust contracts with political and social organizations of the wards: Binh Thuy, Thoi An Dong and Long Tuyen.

At the ceremony, the Transaction Office of Binh Thuy Social Policy Bank and the socio-political organizations of the above wards, including the Women's Union, Farmers' Association, Veterans' Association and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union agreed to sign a loan entrustment contract for poor households and other policy beneficiaries.

According to the Transaction Office of Binh Thuy Social Policy Bank, as of July 22, 2025, the total outstanding loan balance reached VND 469,766 billion under 11 policy credit programs, with 174 savings and loan groups in 3 wards: Binh Thuy, Thoi An Dong and Long Tuyen (after merging administrative units). Of which, the total overdue debt is VND 143 million, a rate of 0.03% of the total outstanding loan balance. Through credit programs, it has created conditions for households to develop production and business, create jobs, increase income, improve life, and contribute to ensuring social security in the locality.
