HueWACO is honored to be one of the six units to win the Green Stream of Vietnam award.

Successfully accomplished many tasks.

During the 2020-2025 term, under the leadership and guidance of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Party Committee of the City People's Committee, and the Party Committee of the City Agencies and Enterprises Bloc (now the Party Committee of the City's Party Agencies), the HueWACO Party Committee successfully led the unit in accomplishing many important tasks. Notably, it fostered unity and cohesion throughout the Party Committee, as well as achieving and exceeding production and business targets.

Accordingly, HueWACO has invested in and put into operation water treatment plants such as: Van Nien, with a capacity of 120,000 m3/day, phase 1 60,000 m3/day; Thuong Long, with a capacity of 2,000 m3/day, and simultaneously upgraded several plants: Tu Ha, Chan May, Phong Thu, Loc An..., contributing to increasing the total water supply capacity by more than 40%, from 200,000 m3/day to 280,000 m3/day, meeting the clean water needs of people in the area.

HueWACO also invested in nearly 1,000km of pipelines from DN50 to DN1200, increasing the total pipeline network length from 4,400km to over 5,400km, covering the entire city. Simultaneously, it developed an additional 40,000 connections, contributing to raising the percentage of people using clean water citywide to 97.62%, with rural areas increasing from 87.74% (2020) to 94.87% (2024). This is a significant effort by HueWACO in expanding water coverage, bringing water to rural areas to help bridge regional disparities and improve the quality of life for residents. As a result, recorded water production increased by 12.3 million m3, averaging a 4.53% annual increase. In 2025, HueWACO expects to achieve a water production volume of approximately 66.7 million m3 and strives to reach revenue of over 669 billion VND; contributing an average of over 155 billion VND to the state budget annually. HueWACO is also one of the 5 exemplary units in the group of state-owned enterprises with over 50% of charter capital in terms of budget contributions. At the same time, it ensures an average profit increase of 6.8% per year. Specifically in 2024, it aims to achieve 155.02 billion VND in profit; the dividend payout ratio for 2024 is 9.5%, an increase of 1.47% compared to 2019…

After more than 15 years of implementation, HueWACO has continuously innovated its approach and developed safe water supply plans. As a result, the company consistently ranks among the top water companies in Vietnam and the region in terms of safe water supply.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of HueWACO, Le Quang Minh, and leaders of units within the Vietnam Water Supply and Drainage Association attended the Ozwater'24 water industry conference and exhibition in Australia.

HueWACO's goal is not only to provide safe water at the plant but also throughout the pipeline network and taps of customers, aiming for potable tap water by 2030. To achieve this goal, the company has developed various operational scenarios to ensure safe water supply during peak periods such as festivals, Tet (Lunar New Year), summer, saltwater intrusion, floods, and storms.

HueWACO is also a pioneer in the field of digital transformation. Under the leadership and guidance of the Party Committee, the company has promoted automated operations, improving the efficiency of production tasks on a digital technology platform, moving towards smart operation on a big data platform by 2030.

After the completion and commissioning of the first phase of the automated water supply system operation center, HueWACO has essentially achieved its goal of integrating automated monitoring and control, focusing on large plants such as Van Nien and Quang Te, as well as pressure regulating transfer stations and pipeline networks. In phase 2, HueWACO plans to continue integrating plants with a capacity of 8,000 m3/day, expected to be completed in early 2026, in order to achieve the goal of automated operation across the entire water supply system.

In addition to its production and business activities, HueWACO also focuses on and allocates a significant portion of its budget to social welfare activities. Over the past 5 years, HueWACO has mobilized nearly 10 billion VND for social welfare activities, organizing the donation of thousands of gifts to poor households, 2,000 warm jackets to poor students in the city; providing care for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, contributing to the construction of houses of compassion and solidarity for policy beneficiary families...

Construction of pipelines to bring clean water to rural areas.

Providing the best service to customers.

During the period 2025-2030, HueWACO will continue its efforts to ensure water security and provide safe water with quality products and perfect services to 100% of the people and organizations in the area.

To achieve this goal, HueWACO will simultaneously implement various solutions. Accordingly, the company will continue to effectively implement its development strategy, truly making breakthroughs to prepare for the expansion phase after 2030, making HueWACO one of the top 5 companies in the Vietnamese water industry and establishing HueWACO clean water as a strong brand in Southeast Asia.

HueWACO is also continuing its strong digital transformation, aiming to become a model digital enterprise by 2027, linked to digital government and smart cities. Simultaneously, it will operate an automated water supply system, ensuring safe and secure water supply for 100% of the city's population, progressing towards providing water with superior service quality by 2030, and ensuring a harmonious balance of interests: the enterprise, the government, and the people.

“Enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the entire Party Committee, upholding the traditions of the Heroic Labor Unit, and driving HueWACO to rapid, sustainable development and reaching new heights in the era of Vietnam's nation's progress” – This is the theme of the 16th Party Congress of Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress takes place in the context of the entire Party, people, and armed forces of Hue City intensifying the patriotic emulation movement, striving to achieve the highest possible results to fulfill the socio -economic development targets for the 2025-2030 period.

For the period 2025-2030, the HueWACO Party Committee has also determined to resolutely and persistently pursue three breakthrough goals.

Firstly, there is a breakthrough in "Organizational Structure and Personnel." Accordingly, after thorough research and reassessment of the current organizational model and functions and tasks of some departments, HueWACO will restructure and build a streamlined, efficient, and strong company operating model in line with the company's development goals and strategies for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045... Research and implement a two-tiered operating model in line with the two-tiered local government orientation and the arrangement of new administrative units of the city. The focus is on restructuring and organizing the management model according to 09 "retail" CMAs by 2025 to enhance the proactive role of water supply system management and operation units, reach and care for each customer, and optimize resources...

Secondly, we need to create breakthroughs in "Operational management, performance management, and risk management." We will continue to research cost-reduction solutions by optimizing operational processes, applying advanced and green technologies to production; optimizing the allocation of major costs such as electricity and chemicals; and effectively managing cash flow and optimizing capital resources.

Thirdly, there is a breakthrough in "Increasingly modern infrastructure, factories, and equipment operating on a digital technology platform," focusing on three main pillars:

The first pillar is Digital Customer Service - aiming to enhance the customer experience through the digital environment, innovating the assessment of customer satisfaction with HueWACO's water quality and services based on two-way interaction, thereby improving customer service quality and moving towards providing perfect service.

The second pillar is the intelligent, automated operation of the water supply system, ensuring safe and secure water supply.

The third pillar is building a digital governance system, with the goal of having all management activities conducted entirely on a digital platform, integrating data for operations from digital customer platforms and smart water production...

HueWACO's targets for the new term 2025-2030 include: Ensuring water quality according to standards; Continuous water supply 24/7 with interruption time in case of incidents under 4 hours (for pipes with diameter <400mm); Maintaining water pressure; Average annual increase in commercial water output of over 3%, reaching 76.6 million m³ by 2030; Average annual increase in water revenue of 2.6%, reaching VND 757 billion by 2030; Average annual increase in pre-tax profit of 2.8%, reaching VND 182.7 billion by 2030; Annual increase in labor productivity of 8%; Average annual increase in employee income of 6%, reaching VND 23.8 million/person/month by 2030.
