Polish Post (Poczta Polska) says more and more parcels are being delivered on time.
The data report for the first 9 weeks of 2025 shows that there are positive effects of the Polish Post Transformation Plan announced in August 2024. Regardless of the type of service, priority mail, priority and economy parcels, or the flagship Pocztex (EMS service), clear improvements in quality and punctuality of delivery are visible, which significantly affects the satisfaction of individual and business customers.

“The data shows that Poczta Polska is constantly working to improve the quality of the services it provides. The significant improvement in parcel delivery times according to criteria at different stages is proof that it is possible to combine operational efficiency with high customer satisfaction, even in conditions of transformation of the company. The quality of service, which was previously a point of criticism, is now a reason for Polish Post to be proud. The consistent implementation of the Poczta Polska Transformation Plan shows that we are on the right track,” said Sławomir Żurawski, Vice President Operations and Logistics at Poczta Polska.
A quantum leap in the quality of priority mail: Analysis of priority mail flow data shows that the average weekly volume is around 600,000 letters. A steady increase in service quality was observed as early as the second week of January and has remained above the target. On average, more than 94% of priority mail is delivered by the third day after it is sent, i.e., according to the D+3 standard.
Parcel service performance meets expectations: Since the beginning of the year, the on-time delivery rate for priority parcels has soared above the target threshold and has remained consistently high to this day. In the first week of 2025, the rate reached 98%, and in the following weeks it was stable at 99% of efficient and on-time deliveries. This means that Poczta Polska delivers priority parcels above the regulatory target.
Good news from the analysis of economy parcels: Since the beginning of the year, the on-time delivery rate has remained high at 99%, (i.e. meeting the D+5 delivery target). This is especially important as economy parcels are often chosen by customers because of their lower shipping costs and competitive prices. Since February this year, on average, more than 99 out of 100 parcels sent via Poczta Polska have reached their recipients on time, according to the expected target. This is evidence that Polish Post is effectively addressing the challenges of providing logistics services.
Pocztex service (EMS service) ensures speed and reliability: The leading and most popular Pocztex service, known for its express delivery service, does not disappoint either. On average, customers send more than one million Pocztex parcels every week. More than 95% of them reach the recipient the next day after sending (meeting the target, delivery standard D+1). This shows Poczta Polska's high commitment to providing fast and reliable express delivery services.
