C06 checks and evaluates the implementation results of Project 06

This morning (June 14 ) , the working delegation of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order of the Ministry of Public Security led by Major General Le Minh Hieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06) had a working session with the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province. The content of the inspection and evaluation of the implementation results of Project 06 "Developing applications of data on population, identification and electronic authentication, serving national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" of the Government . Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh chaired the meeting and worked with the delegation.

Recognizing the role and importance of Project 06, over the past time, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province has always paid attention to directing and managing the implementation of the project's tasks in the province. Thereby, the province's public service system has officially connected and shared data with the national population database system, serving the authentication of citizen information in handling administrative procedures and deploying 25/25 essential public services according to regulations. The index of serving people and businesses in performing administrative procedures and providing public services reached 71.11%, ranking 9th out of 63 provinces and cities. The rate of "correct, sufficient, clean, and alive" population data and the number of people in the province who are granted citizen identification cards are increasing. As of June 12, the rate of granting citizen identification cards in the province reached 99.55%.

At the working session, the delegation and members of the Project 06 working group of Binh Phuoc had many discussions about the achieved results, shortcomings, limitations, difficulties and obstacles to remove bottlenecks, especially in terms of infrastructure and human resources in implementation as well as orienting key tasks in the coming time.

Emphasizing the things that Binh Phuoc needs to focus on in the coming time, Major General Le Minh Hieu suggested that Binh Phuoc needs to improve the quality of human resources and information technology infrastructure, select models suitable to the local reality to implement digital transformation, and at the same time perfect the working group from the provincial to grassroots levels. Major General Le Minh Hieu also requested that departments and branches need to promote their roles and responsibilities and coordinate well in performing their tasks. In particular, the Provincial Police regularly urge and guide departments, branches and localities to perform well their assigned tasks, strengthen the work of cleaning up population data, and pay attention to information security and safety issues.

Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh requested the health andeducation sectors to promote the results of implementing Project 06 so that people can enjoy the best services.

Thanking the delegation for their attention, Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh requested members of the provincial Project 06 working group to better promote their role and seriously absorb the delegation's opinions; focus on improving human resources and reviewing the purchase of equipment to better serve the implementation of Project 06.

Previously, the working group inspected the Dong Xoai City People's Committee, Dong Phu District People's Committee and the data cleaning work as well as the situation of issuing citizen identification cards at Tan Phu Town Police (Dong Phu District) and Tan Xuan Ward Police (Dong Xoai City). The working group assessed that the officers, civil servants and public employees of the one-stop-shop department had citizen reception accounts to handle administrative procedures, and understood the methods of exploiting, connecting and using information on residence in the national population database to handle administrative procedures. However, the infrastructure serving the implementation of the project is not yet guaranteed.
