Ca Mau: One worker dies after being caught in a fertilizer granulator.
On September 22, the Bac Lieu Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board announced that it had reported to the competent authorities about the serious labor accident that occurred at the Bac Lieu Petroleum Fertilizer Plant (Tra Kha Industrial Park, Bac Lieu City).
Báo Sài Gòn Giải phóng•22/09/2025At approximately 3:30 PM on September 20th, while operating a fertilizer granulation machine, worker D.V.C.L. (born in 1996, residing in Vinh Loi commune, Ca Mau province) was unfortunately caught in the machine. Workers at the scene immediately cut off the power, pulled the victim out, and took him to the hospital for emergency treatment.
After receiving treatment at Bac Lieu General Hospital, the victim was transferred to Can Tho Central General Hospital. However, due to the severity of the injuries, the hospital informed the family to prepare for the victim's funeral. At 11:30 PM on September 20th, worker L. passed away at home.
Currently, the Bac Lieu Provincial Industrial Zones Management Board is coordinating with the police and relevant units to investigate and handle the case in accordance with the law.
