Ca Mau carefully prepares groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony to celebrate National Day September 2

According to the plan, on August 19, 2025, along with the whole country, Ca Mau province will simultaneously start and inaugurate a number of large-scale works and projects in the province: Groundbreaking ceremony of the Social Housing Project of the New Urban Area, Hamlet 5, Ward 1 (now An Xuyen Ward); inauguration of the Bac Lieu Sports Complex Project; inauguration of the Project to upgrade and expand the Ca Mau - Dam Doi route (section from Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street to Xom Ruong Bridge).

In addition, the province coordinated with the Ministry of National Defense to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway Project (Ca Mau - Cai Nuoc section), the traffic route from Dat Mui to Hon Khoai Port and Hon Khoai Port; coordinated with Vietnam Airports Corporation - JSC to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ca Mau Airport expansion and upgrade project.

This is a major event, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Up to now, relevant agencies and units have reviewed and developed plans to select the location and scale of the event; at the same time, completed documents, procedures and processes to ensure full conditions for groundbreaking and inauguration according to regulations.

At the meeting, departments, branches and units discussed preparations, plans to welcome delegates, the scale of the event, as well as solutions to connect online transmission lines for the event; work to ensure traffic safety, parking, vehicles, fire prevention, security and order before, during and after the event.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Van Bi requested agencies and units, based on their assigned functions and tasks, to closely coordinate and promptly complete the work, carefully prepare the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of works and projects to ensure the success of these events. Assign the Provincial People's Committee Office to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event host unit, to develop detailed scenarios for each content, ensuring consistency and agreement with the Central Government's direction.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that agencies and units arrange command forces and ensure technical requirements for online connection lines with nationwide bridges. Regularly check technical infrastructure and public lighting systems; ensure traffic infrastructure, arrange areas, parking lots, traffic flow regulation to ensure traffic safety, security and order, fire prevention and fighting safety; at the same time, proactively develop backup plans to ensure continuous supply of electricity and water. In particular, it is necessary to absolutely ensure security and safety for Party and State leaders and participating delegates, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.

In addition, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed to develop a script, assign tasks to reporters; prepare television scripts at the connecting points. Ensure medical conditions, food hygiene and safety at the event locations. Focus on environmental sanitation, urban order, create a green - clean - beautiful landscape not only at the event location but also in the whole province, create a competitive atmosphere to arouse the spirit of solidarity, spread joy among the people, those who directly benefit from the results of the works and projects.
