Singer Khanh An choked up as she talked about her late grandmother

(Dan Tri) - Runner-up of "Solo with Bolero 2024" Khanh An said that the moment she heard the news that her grandmother had passed away forever, she was stunned. Every time she sang a song about her grandmother, tears fell.

Khanh An has won many music awards, the most notable of which is the runner-up title of The Voice Kids 2019 and most recently the runner-up title of Solo with Bolero 2024 .

At the age of 19, Khanh An looks like a young woman with pure beauty. The singer said that she had difficulty with her singing voice during puberty but soon regained her form thanks to diligent vocal training.

Recently, the female singer attracted attention when releasing the MV "Finding Mother in Dreams". The song was written from a true story and memories of Khanh An's grandmother.

Sharing her feelings when composing, Khanh An choked up: "The song was written from the deepest part of my heart. This is my true story, so every time I sing it, tears fall. She is the motivation, the greatest source of strength for me to continue my artistic path."

Khanh An said that during the time she and her mother had to work far away, her grandmother stayed at home waiting for her, looking forward to her return every day. But then one day when she returned, she was speechless when she saw that her grandmother had gone forever.

Although it is his first work, Khanh An does not focus on refinement. The story is simple but touches the heart because it contains love, nostalgia and loss.
