Agencies and units signed a commitment to coordinate the implementation of the model "Kien Thuy 5 An"

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of April 19, at the Kien Thuy District Police Hall, the District People's Committee held a Conference to deploy the model "Kien Thuy 5 An". Comrade Pham Tien Thuat, Vice Chairman of Kien Thuy District People's Committee, Head of the District Steering Committee 799 chaired the Conference.

To continue to improve the effectiveness of ensuring political security, social order and safety, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting in conjunction with promoting economic development, ensuring safety of tourism services and social security, the Standing Committee of Kien Thuy District Party Committee requests Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to focus on building and implementing the model "Kien Thuy 5 Safe".

In which, “Political security, social order and safety” includes: ensuring political stability, ideological foundation, political leadership of the Party, implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; protecting the correctness in implementing political guidelines; preventing and stopping acts of sabotage, distortion that deviate from development, protecting internal politics of Party agencies, government, and socio-political organizations. Ensuring social order and discipline so that people can live, work, and produce with peace of mind on the basis of legal norms and ethical standards; focusing on the following contents: fighting against crime, maintaining public order, social order and safety, preventing work accidents, preventing natural disasters and epidemics, eliminating social evils, protecting the environment...

The criterion of "Traffic safety" is to strive for no serious traffic accidents in the area; every year strive to reduce 3 criteria of number of cases, number of deaths and number of injuries due to traffic accidents.

The criterion of “Fire and explosion safety” is to prevent fires and serious fire incidents in the area, ensuring the safety of people and property of the State, businesses and people.

The criterion of “Safety of tourism services” is to ensure tourism services; tourists come to tourist attractions safely, thoroughly resolving negative phenomena of taking advantage of tourism services in the area.

The criterion of “Social Security” is to sustainably eliminate poverty and reduce near-poor households in the area. Policy families and meritorious people are cared for regularly and thoughtfully.

Representatives of relevant agencies, units and localities in the district signed a commitment to coordinate in implementing the model.

To achieve these goals, Kien Thuy District Party Committee requested agencies and units to focus on propaganda work, promote the role, responsibility, pioneering spirit, and exemplary role of cadres, party members, union members, and association members in implementing the model. Promote the implementation of the national target program on building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas; invest in building a synchronous transportation system, especially coastal roads; focus on improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Strengthen the application of science and technology, synchronously connect the gateways to the district, routes and tourist attractions such as the Mac Dynasty Memorial Site, the historical relic site of Mo Temple - Pagoda, etc. to serve management and operation.

In addition, Kien Thuy District Party Committee requested to enhance the role, functions and tasks of the district police force in ensuring political security, social order and safety, traffic order and safety, fire prevention and fighting, ensuring safety of tourism services, and social security work. Linking economic development with taking care of solving social issues such as job creation, poverty reduction, crime prevention and social evils to build a civilized district; linking socio-economic development with the task of strengthening potential, consolidating national defense and security, building a solid frontline defense area, maintaining national sovereignty and security of sea and islands; developing proactive plans to promptly and effectively respond to and handle complex situations that arise, maintaining political stability and social order and safety.

To implement the model, Kien Thuy District People's Committee has established a Steering Committee headed by Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Chairman of the District People's Committee; at the same time, assigned tasks to members of the Steering Committee, and developed operating regulations to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and practicality, suitable to the actual situation of the locality.
