Hai Duong City has not recorded any unusual closure of gold shops.

At 4:45 p.m. on April 19, gold and silver stores, including some large stores such as Hai Hong, Bao Tin Manh Hai, Doji , PNJ, Kim Hien, Van Anh... on some streets such as Pham Ngu Lao, Xuan Dai, Ho Chi Minh Boulevard, Tran Hung Dao were all open for normal operations.

Some households living next door or across the street said that for many days now these gold and silver shops have been operating normally.

Over the past week, many gold shops on some busy business streets in Ho Chi Minh City have been closed en masse.

According to some newspapers, the leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department said that on April 9, they suddenly inspected 7 gold shops in District 6 and District 8, discovering some violations such as selling gold jewelry products of unknown origin, without invoices, documents, and without product labels. Some jewelry such as earrings, pendants, bracelets, etc. showed signs of counterfeiting famous brands such as Chanel, Versace, etc. that are protected in Vietnam.
