Tropical depression appears in the East Sea, likely to strengthen into a storm

(DN) - Dong Nai Hydrometeorological Station said that at 4:00 p.m. on July 16, the center of the tropical depression was at about 14.2 degrees North latitude; 130.1 degrees East longitude, in the sea east of the Philippines.

The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6 - 7 (39 - 69 km/h) moving in the West Northwest direction, level 9, speed 15 km/h.

Warning: In the next 48 to 72 hours, the tropical depression is likely to strengthen into a storm. The storm is moving mainly in the West-Northwest direction, traveling 20-25km per hour and is likely to strengthen further.

The tropical depression does not directly affect the weather in Dong Nai province. The weather in the province is cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, evening and night, with moderate rain in some places and heavy rain in some places. During thunderstorms, beware of whirlwinds, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
