BRINGING PARTY RESOLUTIONS INTO LIFE Phu Vinh awakens the potential of the rocky land

Known as the land of stone, Phu Vinh highland commune, Dong Nai province enters the new term 2025-2030 with great expectations from the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Commune Party Committee. The Resolution is a strategic breakthrough: turning challenges into opportunities, turning difficulties into motivation... opening a new phase with the aspiration to awaken the potential of the land of stone.

From breakthrough missions

One of the important tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 1st Congress of Phu Vinh Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030, is to mobilize resources and exploit natural advantages to develop hydropower potential.

Currently, in addition to the Phu Tan 2 Hydropower Project with a capacity of about 93MW that has been officially connected to the national grid, at the end of November 2025, the Phu Tan 1 Hydropower Plant Project with a total estimated investment of more than 1,554 billion VND will be started. With a capacity of 28MW in phase 1 and 45MW when completed, Phu Tan 1 Hydropower Plant is expected to create a clean, stable source of energy, contributing to promoting local economic development through job creation during the construction phase and upgrading local traffic infrastructure.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Vinh Commune, Le Triet Nhu Vu, affirmed: "After the merger, Phu Vinh has a great advantage in energy. Therefore, the launch of the Phu Tan 1 Hydropower Project is considered a lever to promote the local socio-economic development. We consider energy a breakthrough field alongside agriculture and tourism. In addition, the construction of the factory in the mountainous area will help Phu Vinh promote investment in areas with limited infrastructure."

During the 2025-2030 term, Phu Vinh commune will prioritize planning light industrial clusters, promoting investment in deep processing of agricultural products, promoting the development of eco -tourism , community culture... to build Phu Vinh commune with diverse economy so that every citizen has the opportunity to develop right on their homeland.

Phu Vinh currently has nearly 3,500 hectares of key agricultural crops, of which durian has the largest area with 1,337 hectares, banana 1,300 hectares, grapefruit 700 hectares. Most of this area has guaranteed irrigation water thanks to surface water layers and 3 solidly invested pumping stations. The agricultural breakthrough goal was built by the commune according to Resolution 143 on linking production and product consumption, increasing income for people.

From the gravel, new vitality is emerging. “Phu Vinh after the merger is no longer a difficult land. This land is full of gravel, but it is a land of faith, of hard work and aspiration to grow. My business hopes that the locality will pay more attention to supporting and promoting the deep processing of products that have achieved OCOP certification (One Commune One Product Program)” - Mr. Giang Dinh Thin, Director of Giang Hoang Yen Company Limited hopes.

Realize the desire to break through

After the merger, Phu Vinh commune has an area of ​​nearly ^70km2 and a population of more than 31,000 people, mainly Chinese and other ethnic minorities. With a favorable geographical location and eco-tourism potential, the commune has many opportunities to make a breakthrough.

At the 1st Congress of the Phu Vinh Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030, Colonel Vo Thanh Danh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command, likened: "Phu Vinh with the "specialty" of nearly 70km² of hills, laterite, gray stone, but the people of Phu Vinh do not "surrender". Phu Vinh chooses to "live with stone", finding its own way from its own resilience and creativity. "The new term with a larger space, area, more potential and advantages, requires the consensus and joint efforts of the Commune Party Committee, must find the key to unlock the potential of the rocky land. I believe that one day soon, Phu Vinh's rocky land will blossom" - Colonel Vo Thanh Danh emphasized.

Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Vinh Commune People's Council Dao Van Tuan shared: The commune's three breakthrough tasks have been identified, but there needs to be determination and a specific roadmap for each breakthrough. The locality will focus on developing sustainable, high-tech agriculture, associated with brand building and linking product consumption. At the same time, the commune identifies tourism as a new spearhead economic sector, focusing on mobilizing resources to exploit existing potential. Plans include: effectively promoting the Ba Giot Waterfall and Bat Cave tourist areas, attracting investment in eco-tourism, resorts and linking tourism with preserving the culture of local ethnic minorities. Each task is specified by a specific plan and roadmap.

Along with promoting economic development, Phu Vinh will focus on improving all indicators, building a modern and transparent Public Administration Service Center of the commune to best serve the people.
