(HNMO) On the evening of June 12, the Organizing Committee of the Robot Assembly and Programming Competition for Students - MYOR 2023 announced and awarded prizes to teams with outstanding achievements.
The competition has 3 parts, for high school students, divided into groups according to age: elementary school students compete in robot control, middle school students compete in robot control and programming, high school students compete in robot programming.
As a result, the two special prizes of the competition belonged to teams from Ho Chi Minh City. Specifically, for the junior high school age group, the control championship belonged to the team of Chu Khanh Hung and Tran Trung Quan (Nguyen Binh Khiem junior high school, Ho Chi Minh City). For the senior high school age group, the programming championship belonged to the team of Pham Huynh Anh Khoa and Bui Khai Nguyen (Thu Duc junior high school, Ho Chi Minh City).
These two teams will be sponsored with scholarships to participate in the International MYOR Competition held at NanYang Technological University, Singapore with a total prize of 22 million VND/prize.
In addition to the 2 special prizes mentioned above, the Organizing Committee also awarded each competition 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, and 7 Consolation Prizes.
Along with that, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 Potential prizes and 3 "Most beautifully designed robot" prizes.
The MYOR Robot Assembly and Programming Competition 2023 with the theme “Green Space” is for high school students nationwide who love technology and are passionate about robotics. The competition is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with the Center for Youth Science and Technology Development and GaraSTEM.
The final round of this year's competition had the participation of 102 teams with 186 contestants from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Nghe An, Kien Giang, and Da Nang.
