Information from Lotte Mart in Hanoi said that to ensure uninterrupted supply, the system has worked closely with suppliers to increase the amount of goods by 30 - 50% compared to normal.

Notably, this system also applies a flexible price support policy based on the actual number of orders for organizations and individuals purchasing goods for relief purposes.

At the same time, the system also continues to maintain and increase promotional products with good prices in periodic programs, helping customers shop smarter and save more during this difficult period," said a representative of this system.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre, Mr. Le Manh Phong, Director of the Northern region of the GO! supermarket system, Tops Market, said that in recent days, all staff of Central Retail Vietnam have made great efforts to ensure the supply of goods to serve the needs of the people.

Specifically, with fast-moving consumer goods such as rice, sugar, fish sauce, spices..., the unit fully supplies people's shopping needs.

Fresh food products have increased supply from provinces less affected by rain and storms... with output 3-4 times higher than normal and meeting the recent surge in demand.

Meat and fish have ample supply from the capacity of existing major suppliers as well as diversity from additional sources of frozen goods.

Other essential items such as drinking water, rice, eggs, instant noodles, milk, etc. are in large stock at points of sale, combined with plans to commit to increasing supplies from suppliers, so currently GO! and Tops Market supermarkets in the North can fully meet the needs of consumers during this time with the most stable and competitive prices.

Meanwhile, although the system has not yet appeared in the North, a representative of Bach Hoa Xanh said that the unit has proactively increased reserves at central warehouses (especially in areas near provinces that are heavily affected by storms and floods) with essential items such as instant noodles, vermicelli, pho, canned foods of all kinds...
