Types of drinks that can be consumed on the plane

Water : Water is the best drink for passengers when flying, so you should replenish enough water for your body. Because, at an altitude of thousands of meters in the air, the body will lose a lot of water because the humidity is only from 10 to 20%. According to estimates, with a flight lasting about 10 hours, you can lose from 1.6 to 2 liters of water - about 4% of the water in the body. If you do not drink enough water, you will feel tired and have a headache. However, to ensure the most hygiene, you should choose to drink bottled water instead of drinking available water or water taken from the plane's water tap.

Drink tea : If you really need a hot drink to wake you up, choose tea. Because tea helps you wake up in a healthy way, better for your health than caffeine.

Club Soda : For many people, to overcome fatigue or discomfort or to stay awake on a long flight, they need a carbonated drink. However, according to experts, carbonated drinks are the "nemesis" of long flights because they often cause dehydration. Therefore, instead of drinking carbonated water, you can use club soda (carbonated water with added minerals).

Drinks to Avoid When Flying

Coffee : For many people, sipping a cup of coffee during a night flight seems like a worthwhile idea because it will help keep your mind alert so you can finish some unfinished work. However, the caffeine in coffee can affect your sleep.

Tap water : Water samples taken directly from the taps on planes are often not safe to drink. In 2019, a study conducted by New York University on a number of airlines operating in the US showed that water samples taken from these "iron birds" were of unsafe quality.

Sugary juices and sodas : Consume a lot of sugary drinks, such as juices and colas, especially on long flights. If you consume a lot of sugary drinks, it can easily lead to headaches and nausea.

Alcoholic drinks : Experts always recommend that passengers avoid drinking too much alcohol while on the plane if they do not want to dehydrate their bodies. Or if you really crave it, do not drink like you would at home.
