(VTC News) - A helicopter squadron carrying the Party flag and the national flag flew over Ba Dinh Square to celebrate National Day September 2.

Opening the parade was the heroic Vietnam People's Air Force, including squadrons of Mi-171, Mi-17, Mi-8 helicopters; Casa C-295, C212i transport aircraft; Yak-130, L-39NG and Su-30MK2.

Leading the way was a squadron of Mi-171, Mi-17, Mi-8 helicopters, carrying the Party flag and the national flag flying over the historic Ba Dinh Square. A symbol of great solidarity, the pride of the Party and the nation, demonstrating the mettle, intelligence, and aspiration to build the country to take off and soar in the new era.
