Organizations need to monitor to detect cyber attack risks early.

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, the upcoming time is the time when many national events will take place such as New Year 2025, Lunar New Year At Ty and especially towards the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam . This is the time when hostile forces take advantage of attacking information systems to distort and sabotage the policies of the Party and State in cyberspace.

Therefore, ministries, branches, localities; central press agencies; economic groups, state-owned corporations; corporations, general companies, Internet and telecommunications service providers, financial institutions, and commercial banks must strengthen the work of ensuring network information security 24/7.

Assign personnel to monitor regularly and continuously to ensure early detection of cyber attack risks, especially data encryption attacks and interface changes. The goal is to promptly handle and quickly resolve cyber attack incidents.

Units need to proactively check, evaluate and fix security vulnerabilities; review and fully update security vulnerability patches for network information systems weekly and monthly as announced by the Department of Information Security.

In addition, units need to organize propaganda activities, raise awareness and basic skills on network information security; recognize and sense toxic information, fake news, distortion, and sabotage against the Party and State.

At the same time, focus on preventing and combating cyber fraud for all officers, employees of the agency and people in the area.

The Ministry requires telecommunications service providers and digital platform providers to focus on implementing technical measures at the highest level to detect and prevent the dissemination of harmful and illegal information.

In addition, units need to update and handle user feedback and complaints about spam messages, spam calls, especially scam messages and calls, and spam messages and calls shared by the Information Security Department.

Along with that, telecommunications units and conversion platform providers need to strictly implement and promptly handle the requirements of the Ministry of Information and Communications and competent authorities.
