Renovating a beautiful apartment like a dream that everyone wishes for

TPO - Through the project, the design team wants to bring a simple solution to improve the living space of ordinary apartments in Vietnam, creating a flexible living environment suitable for modern lifestyles.

This is a small project with the aim of improving the quality of life, in a typical apartment in Hanoi , to bring an open and flexible living space, close to nature. At the same time, the project also aims to create connections between people, eliminating the separation of space due to the arrangement of the common room.

The apartment was originally divided into small rooms, including two bedrooms adjacent to the outside, and a common living space adjacent to the inside hallway.

The walls of the rooms reduce the ability to get light and ventilation of the apartment, so the common living space is always dark, limited and has a boring view.

The proposed design solution is to remove the room walls and move the living space to the center of the apartment.

The two bedrooms on either side are separated by sliding wooden partitions that can be opened and closed when needed. During the day, when the partitions are retracted, the spaces are connected, allowing light and wind to reach every corner.

In this new space, people are able to see each other from every position in the apartment, increasing the opportunity to communicate and interact with each other more in activities.

When privacy is needed, the walls are closed, creating separate and independent bedrooms. At the same time, the common living space in the central location still receives wind, light and a beautiful view to the outside.

In addition to changing the nature of the space, the apartment's interior is also very simple, aiming for a harmonious lifestyle, reducing furniture but still ensuring comfort for family life.

The apartment's living space has no sofa, just a long table and chairs. This is where people work, meet, chat, eat, and relax.

The main materials used are light-colored wood combined with white ceilings and walls, minimizing unnecessary decorative details, creating a spacious feeling and softer space.

Through this, people can easily feel the presence of nature around them in the form of green trees and light.
