According to the plan, Ho Chi Minh City will set off fireworks at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city) with 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks, and 10 pyrotechnics. The fireworks will last 15 minutes, from 9-9:15 p.m. on September 2.

In order to ensure traffic order and safety for the organization of cultural and artistic programs during the holiday, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport announced that from 6-11pm on September 2, all vehicles will be prohibited from entering Nguyen Hue Street (from Le Thanh Ton Street to Ton Duc Thang Street), District 1.

For the fireworks display, from 7-10pm, the authorities prohibit vehicles from entering the following routes: Le Loi Street (from Dong Khoi to Pasteur); Dong Khoi Street (from Nguyen Du to Ton Duc Thang); Ton Duc Thang Street (from Nguyen Sieu to Vo Van Kiet); Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (from Khanh Hoi Bridge to Hoang Dieu); Ham Nghi Street (from Ho Tung Mau to Ton Duc Thang); Hai Trieu Street (from Ho Tung Mau to Nguyen Hue); Ton That Thiep Street (from Ho Tung Mau to Nguyen Hue); Huynh Thuc Khang Street (from Ho Tung Mau to Nguyen Hue); Ly Tu Trong Street (from Pasteur to Hai Ba Trung); Le Thanh Ton Street (from Hai Ba Trung to Pasteur); Lam Son Square Street (from Hai Ba Trung to Dong Khoi); Dong Du Street (from Hai Ba Trung to Dong Khoi); Nguyen Thiep Street (from Dong Khoi to Nguyen Hue); Mac Thi Buoi Street (from Hai Ba Trung to Nguyen Hue).

There are 5 routes around the Me Linh Square roundabout that also prohibit traffic during the above time, including: Ngo Duc Ke Street (to Ho Tung Mau Street), Hai Ba Trung Street (to Mac Thi Buoi Street), Ho Huan Nghiep Street (to Dong Khoi Street), Phan Van Dat Street (to Mac Thi Buoi Street), Thi Sach Street (to Dong Du Street).

In addition, Ba Son Bridge and Khanh Hoi Bridge are also banned from traffic.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport requires people not to stop, park or gather on Mong Bridge, Calmette Bridge, Ong Lanh Bridge, Thu Thiem Bridge, Saigon Bridge, Phu My Bridge, bridges on Mai Chi Tho Street and on the roof of the Saigon River Tunnel to watch fireworks.

Direction from Binh Thanh district to district 4: Nguyen Huu Canh street (Binh Thanh district) → Ton Duc Thang → Nguyen Du → Cach Mang Thang Tam → Nguyen Thi Nghia → Nguyen Thai Hoc → Ong Lanh bridge → Hoang Dieu → Nguyen Tat Thanh (district 4).

Direction from District 4 to Binh Thanh District: Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (District 4) → Hoang Dieu → Ong Lanh Bridge → Nguyen Thai Hoc → Nguyen Thi Nghia → Cach Mang Thang Tam → Nguyen Thi Minh Khai → Xo Viet Nghe Tinh (Binh Thanh District).

Direction from Thu Duc City to District 5: Vo Nguyen Giap Street (Thu Duc City) → Dien Bien Phu → Dinh Tien Hoang → Vo Thi Sau → Ba Thang Hai → Le Hong Phong (District 5).

Direction from District 5 to Thu Duc City: Le Hong Phong Street (District 5) → Dien Bien Phu → Vo Nguyen Giap (Thu Duc City).
