Officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 6 - Ngoc Chuc donate to support the Cuban people

On the afternoon of September 10, the Party Committee and the Defense Command of Region 6 - Ngoc Chuc organized a launching ceremony to respond to the campaign to support the Cuban people. This is a practical activity to respond to the campaign program "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba Friendship" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel To Hai Phong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Region 6 - Ngoc Chuc, emphasized: The Vietnam - Cuba friendship is a loyal and pure friendship, tested through the flames of war and difficult years, becoming a symbol of noble international sentiment. The Party, State and People of Vietnam always cherish and deeply remember the sentiments and sincere and wholehearted support that Cuba has given us in the most difficult years.

Therefore, today's donation activity is an opportunity for each officer and soldier to demonstrate noble international sentiment, further foster the special solidarity between the two countries, and at the same time contribute to educating the qualities, political mettle and social responsibility of local armed forces in the new era.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, 78 officers and soldiers of the unit participated in donating nearly 11 million VND. This is not only a material support action, but also has profound political and social significance, contributing to spreading the spirit of responsibility, pure international solidarity and the tradition of mutual love and support of the Vietnamese people.
