(QNO) - More than 550 units of blood were donated by officers and soldiers of the Vocational Training and Education Center No. 3 at the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival.

On the morning of May 11, in Thang Binh district, the Center for Training, Professional Development and Vocational Education No. 3 (abbreviated as Training Center No. 3, under the Mobile Police Command - Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with Quang Nam Provincial General Hospital and the Provincial Red Cross Society to organize the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Festival with the theme "One drop of blood - One heart".

The event is part of a series of activities responding to the call of the Mobile Police Command, aiming to spread the spirit of humanity and community responsibility among the People's Police force. This is also an opportunity to educate the political and ideological education of officers, soldiers and citizens performing their duties at Training Center No. 3.

With the message “Every drop of blood given - a life saved”, the program attracted a large number of officers and soldiers to participate. As a result, more than 550 units of blood were collected. This amount of blood is a valuable resource, contributing to meeting the treatment and emergency needs at hospitals in the context of scarce blood reserves.

The blood donation festival is a practical activity towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), clearly demonstrating the spirit of "Serving the people" of the police force.
