At the Conference, the Executive Committee of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association solemnly held a ceremony to award the 55-year Party membership badge to comrade Le Quoc Trung - former Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Party member of the Training Center and Cultural Center Party Cell of the Party Committee.
Comrade Le Quoc Trung was admitted to the Party on December 1, 1968, with 55 years in the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam . Comrade Le Quoc Trung has always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people. In all circumstances, he has always demonstrated the mettle and intelligence of a steadfast Communist, steadfast in Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, for the goal of national independence and socialism; preserved and promoted pure revolutionary ethics, pioneering and exemplary character, constantly studying, cultivating and training. Comrade Le Quoc Trung is considered an exemplary Party member in all aspects and the ceremony to receive the 55-year Party badge is truly a source of pride for the Party Committee of the agency.

At the closing ceremony, party member Le Quoc Trung shared that he felt very lucky to come from a family with a revolutionary tradition, his father and uncle were all party members... Right from his high school days, he learned to sympathize with the Party, and had the opportunity to train early in an environment with many dedicated and idealistic party members. Later, working at the Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnam Journalists Association... were all environments that helped party member Le Quoc Trung train, strive, mature and make certain contributions. Even after retirement, he is currently an advisor to the Center for Journalism Training, the Vietnam Journalism Museum, and has been and continues to make many contributions to journalism and association activities.

Expressing his respect for a respected teacher, colleague and comrade, comrade Le Quoc Minh recounted his memories with comrade Le Quoc Trung, and at the same time gave his assessments and recognition of his professional activities. Having been attached to and witnessed the contributions of journalist Le Quoc Trung since he was the General Director of Vietnam News Agency until today when he is in the role of advisor to the Center for Journalism Training, comrade Le Quoc Minh said that party member Le Quoc Trung is an extremely dedicated leader, closely attached to his work, and concerned with his tasks... He has always cared, accompanied and had many ideas to contribute to the agency's activities for many years.
“55 years of Party membership is a meaningful and proud milestone that not every Party member can achieve… It can be said that for comrade Le Quoc Trung - it is a life dedicated to the Party, to work, an admirable career!” - comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized.

In the second part of the Conference, there was a lively atmosphere. Party members at the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association looked back and summarized the year 2023 with many completed tasks and many difficulties overcome.
The highlight of Party work in 2023 is: cadres and party members in the entire Party have promoted the spirit of solidarity and exemplary leadership.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Loi - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association presented the Draft Report, stating that the Party Committee of the Agency, through the Party cells leading the units, cadres and Party members, has advised and implemented specific tasks, contributing significantly to enhancing the role, efficiency and quality of the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association, doing a good job of propaganda work in the context of the Vietnam Journalists Association, together with the press nationwide, the entire people and army, thoroughly grasping and implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies; thoroughly grasping and implementing Directive 43 of the Secretariat on "Strengthening the Party's leadership over the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the new situation" and the Resolution of the 11th National Congress, the Action Program for the entire term of the Association's Executive Committee.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh awarded the decision to reward 02 Party cells for "Excellent completion of tasks", which are the Office Party Cell and the Vietnam Journalists Association Electronic Information Portal.
In 2023, under the close direction of the Standing Committee of the Association, the leadership of the Party Committee, especially the joint efforts of cadres and Party members... The Central Office of the Association has implemented many practical activities that significantly contributed to the overall achievements of the Vietnam Journalists Association and brought about high social efficiency.
In the work of Party building, political and ideological education, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example, the work of building Party organizations and Party members, the work of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement within the Party, the work of leading the building of the government and mass organizations... are all given great attention and concern.
Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the activities in 2023 were carried out smoothly and effectively, especially the grassroots activities which were very practical and useful. The Association's leaders established 03 working delegations to work with local leaders: Nghe An (October 4, 2023), Tien Giang (October 25, 2023) and Hoa Binh (November 15, 2023). Based on the results of working with the localities, the Party Committee of the Agency coordinated with the Party Delegation to issue Document No. 56-BC/DD, dated November 3, 2023, reporting and recommending to the Politburo and the Secretariat on the regime and policies for those working regularly at the Association, on reviewing and arranging titles and positions according to the management hierarchy for the local Journalists Association.

Regarding foreign affairs, the Party Committee of the Agency leads and directs cadres and party members of specialized units to maintain contact with embassies, Journalists' Associations, and Press Federations of countries that have traditional relations with the Vietnam Journalists' Association... In particular, the Party Committee directs the development of scientific and detailed plans and closely and regularly contacts members of the 07 ASEAN press delegations; makes estimates, uses funds effectively and economically; the reception and ceremony work is thoughtful and solemn, contributing significantly to the successful organization of the international press conference "Management of digital press newsrooms: Theory, practice, experience in the ASEAN region"...
The draft report also affirms that the Party Committee leads and directs Party cells, units, and organizations in the agency to implement democratic regulations and labor discipline, taking the quality of work performance as a measure and evaluation of cadres, Party members, and workers, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of work tasks...

Towards 2024, the leadership, direction and coordination of the Party Committee with the Party Delegation, the Standing Committee of the Association, and leaders of units in leading the implementation of political tasks in 2024 is determined by the Party Executive Committee to be extremely close, closely following the political tasks of each unit; closely following the Full-Term Work Program and the 2024 Work Program of the Central Agency of the Association and the Vietnam Journalists Association to lead and direct the Party Committee and cadres, party members, and employees in the Agency to best complete 19 specific tasks.
Key tasks include: Continuing to implement the direction of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, implementing Directive 43-CT/TW dated April 8, 2020 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Deploying the work of reviewing and supplementing the planning of cadres in the Central Office of the Association; Strengthening the direction, urging and inspection of the implementation of the Association's Charter and the Association's entire term work program; National Press Conference 2024; Preparing for the Congress of the Central Office Party Committee of the Association for the term 2025 - 2030...

Also at the Conference, Party members shared their enthusiasm about issues related to political and ideological education for Party members, attention to the training of the next generation of cadres, the issue of honing skills to refute false arguments on cyberspace, contributing to the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation; issues of training and fostering young Party members, issues of encouragement, creating effective playgrounds associated with the political tasks of the unit...
Attending and directing the Conference, Comrade Le Quoc Minh highly appreciated the results that the leaders, cadres and Party members in the agency have "joined hands" to achieve. He emphasized: “The past year, for the Vietnam Journalists Association, there was a new atmosphere, a new color... The leaders and Party members at the Conference all agreed that the solidarity in the agency was a bright spot of the past year. In 2023, our Party Committee is truly very united. We believe that thanks to solidarity, we have done a lot of work. From a professional perspective, the work from the beginning to the end of the year was full of events but all were completed well. The role of leadership from Party work and government work is demonstrated in early orientation, scientific and proactive implementation, helping to promote progress and results...".
The Party Secretary and President of the Vietnam Journalists Association believes that Party members will uphold the spirit of 2023 to continue to be more successful in 2024.
