The project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Hung Temple with President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area has a total investment of more than 73 billion VND. After nearly 1 year of implementation, it is now nearly completed.
In the last days of April, during the Hung Temple Festival, the 2023 Culture - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land is taking place with a series of events. The route connecting Hung Temple to President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area (Chu Hoa Commune, Viet Tri City) also has a new look. This new look was achieved after the project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting the Hung Temple National Historical Site with the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Viet Tri City was nearly completed. The investor of this project is the Management Board of Infrastructure Construction Investment Project of Viet Tri City. The project has a total investment of more than 73 billion VND (according to Decision No. 2778 dated October 28, 2021 of the People's Committee of Viet Tri City), of which the construction and installation item alone is nearly 60 billion VND (according to Decision No. 1821 dated May 18, 2022 of the People's Committee of Viet Tri City). According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, after nearly 1 year of construction, on the entire route with a total length of 3.2km, the main items that have been renovated and upgraded such as: Road surface, sidewalk, drainage system, lighting, trees... have been nearly completed by the contractor, Tu Lap Construction Company Limited. Only a few positions are still open... Ms. NTT - a resident of Thanh Dinh commune (Viet Tri city) shared: "Before, I did not dare to ride a motorbike through this road at night because the road was deserted and there were no lights, but now the road has lights, it is both beautiful and safe, so I can travel comfortably." Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Hoang Xanh - Chairman of Chu Hoa Commune People's Committee, Viet Tri City said that the project route is more than 3km long, only a short section belongs to Hy Cuong Commune (Viet Tri City), the rest is mainly in Chu Hoa Commune. According to Mr. Xanh, the construction project, which is now nearly completed, has helped change the face of Chu Hoa commune in particular and the area around Hung Temple in general to become more spacious and modern. However, Mr. Xanh added that there are still some locations in the project that are under construction and cannot be completed because of the land clearance process at some households. "When the project is completed and put into use, the people will benefit, so most people are very supportive. The government hopes that the remaining households that are still having problems will also, for the common good, create conditions for the project to be completed soon," Mr. Xanh shared.
