TPO - The fact that the investor, Vietnam Construction and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company, has left the Constrexim Complex project, located in a prime location in Cau Giay district, abandoned for decades is causing a waste of land resources and marring the urban landscape.
Located in a prime location within plot A1-2 of the Constrexim Complex in the Cau Giay urban area, and situated at the Mai Dich steel overpass intersection with three street frontages on Ring Road 3 (Pham Hung), Xuan Thuy, and Tran Quoc Vuong, the land plot for the Constrexim Complex project has left many feeling regretful because it has been fenced off and abandoned for decades. |
The Constrexim Complex project is invested in by Vietnam Construction and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company (Constrexim Holdings). |
Constrexim Complex received an investment certificate from the Hanoi People's Committee in July 2012, and the Department of Planning and Architecture issued a document approving the overall site plan in 2017. |
According to the developer, the Constrexim Complex project is a high-end apartment complex, serviced apartments, and a shopping center with 45 floors and 3 basement levels. |
Constrexim Complex comprises one office building, three apartment buildings sharing a five-story service and commercial podium, three underground parking levels, and technical systems. |
According to our research, most of the land for the project was previously the temporary agricultural market area of Dich Vong Hau, and a student night market in the evenings. However, in 2019, the investor rushed to clear the land to implement the project. |
However, since the temporary agricultural market in Dich Vong Hau was "demolished," the only thing the investor has done is fence off the area with corrugated iron and leave it abandoned. |
Based on observations, the entire project area is currently covered with trees and weeds. |

The section of Tran Quoc Vuong street that runs through the project has become a garbage collection point. |
Some areas are used by small traders to gather fruits and food for sale, despite signs prohibiting market activities. |
According to many, the fact that the developer left a prime location like the Constrexim Complex abandoned for decades has resulted in a waste of land resources in the city and marred the appearance of the capital. |
