Close-up of iPhone 16 Pro Max hand-carried to Vietnam, priced at 79 million VND

On the afternoon of September 20, the first iPhone 16 Pro Max was brought to the Vietnamese market via hand-carried route, notably the new price is up to 79 million VND.

The overall appearance of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is not much different from its predecessor. The frame is made of titanium with a scratched design. The back is still finished with frosted glass, helping to limit dust or fingerprints during use.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is the largest iPhone ever. With a curved design at the four corners, the device still feels relatively comfortable to hold. However, the large size makes it very difficult to operate with one hand.

The left side of the device has the volume up and down keys and the Action key. On the new generation of iPhone, the Action key does not have any new features compared to its predecessor.

The right edge of the iPhone 16 Pro Max houses the power button and the Camera Control button. The new button allows users to quickly access the camera system to record videos, take photos, and change settings inside the camera.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max model is still equipped with a 3-camera system, including a 48MP main lens, a 48MP super wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens that supports 5x optical zoom.

Apple has added a new feature to the iPhone 16 Pro Max that allows users to record 4K Dolby Vision videos at 120fps in video or slo-mo mode. Users can also adjust the playback speed to suit their needs. In addition, the device also has a built-in feature to record only the voices of people in the camera frame, even if people outside the frame are talking while recording.

The bottom edge includes the speaker, microphone and USB-C charging port. The USB-C port on the iPhone 16 Pro Max also supports the USB 3 connection standard, allowing data transfer at speeds up to 10Gb/s.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max screen is 6.9 inches in size (0.2 inches more than its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max), LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED panel, supporting ProMotion technology with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with an A18 Pro chip and 8GB of RAM.

The device comes pre-installed with iOS 18 operating system when sold. In the near future, after updating to iOS 18.1, the new device will be supplemented with the Apple Intelligence toolkit. In the latest announcement, Apple said it is planning to add a series of languages to its artificial intelligence toolkit, including Vietnamese by 2025.
