TPO - A food and beverage commercial street in District 7, featuring over 200 high-end food and service establishments operating from 6 PM to midnight daily, is expected to open at the end of this month and is anticipated to be a new destination for Ho Chi Minh City's night economy .
Current status of the upscale food street in District 7, scheduled to open at the end of August. |
A high-end food and beverage commercial street in District 7 will open on August 30th, operating from 6 PM to midnight daily. This is one of three streets included in the project to develop the night-time economy linked to tourism in District 7, approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for pilot implementation since 2023. |
Sky Garden Food and Beverage Commercial Street spans 2.6 hectares and is located within the area of Nguyen Van Linh - Pham Van Nghi - Street No. 2 - Bui Bang Doan streets. The street is designed to provide high-end dining, shopping, and healthcare services in a peaceful, upscale environment. |
The main logo design here is inspired by the shape of a diamond, symbolizing the central location of District 7. The dominant colors are blue, signifying inspiration; green, representing environmental protection; and red, representing the upscale nature of the Phu My Hung residential area. |
The area comprises 222 businesses, including 125 food and beverage establishments; 40 beauty salons; 25 businesses in the trade and service sector; and 31 accommodation establishments. |
Because the business area is located within a residential area, noisy cultural and artistic activities will end earlier, at 10 PM, to ensure they do not disrupt the lives of residents. |
In the future, all establishments will be equipped with brand identity elements, QR codes, and mascots to ensure consistency and easy recognition by visitors. |
Besides Phan Van Nghi Street, Street No. 2 and Bui Bang Doan Street are also being developed into commercial and culinary streets. |
After the pandemic, many shops and restaurants in the Sky Garden area (Phan Van Nghi Street) had to close down and return their premises. Recently, however, signs of recovery are gradually returning to this street. |
Road No. 2 is a cross-section connecting Pham Van Nghi Street to Bui Bang Doan Street - which is also within the scope of the food and beverage commercial street. |
The entrance gate to the Sky Garden food street, located at the beginning of Phan Van Nghi street, is currently under construction. |
Following the directive of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Phan Van Mai, District 7 will be responsible for finalizing the organizational plan, ensuring food safety, fire prevention and control, security and order, public transportation, and environmental sanitation. At the same time, the locality needs to be responsible for controlling counterfeit, fake, and substandard goods, and preventing the re-occupation of sidewalks and business activities outside of the permitted hours and spaces. |
