According to observations by reporters on the afternoon of May 27th, the Da Nang International Fireworks Team (Vietnam 1) and the Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Fireworks Team (China) were urgently completing the final preparations for the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, which will take place on the evening of May 30th.

On the afternoon of May 27th, the Da Nang International Fireworks Team (Vietnam 1) and the Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Fireworks Team (China) were urgently completing the final preparations for the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, which will take place on the evening of May 30th with the theme "Nature".

With years of experience and the advantage of the Han River as their "stage," the Da Nang International Fireworks Team (Vietnam 1) consistently impresses with emotionally rich performances that are deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture.

This year, the Vietnam 1 team is considered an unpredictable "dark horse" thanks to their home advantage and ability to capitalize on the emotions of the home crowd.

With the theme "Nature," the home team not only showcased their technical skills but also told a story through light about the relationship between humans and nature.

According to representatives from the Da Nang – Vietnam 1 team, this year's performance features several notable changes, particularly in technical aspects and the selection of diverse and colorful fireworks to match the theme of the competition night. The team's biggest goal is to deliver a performance that touches the emotions of the viewers.

Meanwhile, Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Fireworks (China) - the reigning champion of DIFF 2025 - presented the competition with the theme "Flower of the Orient," a performance inspired by the Chinese folk song "Jasmine Flower," combining high-quality smokeless fireworks with melodies rich in East Asian identity.

With their strengths in soft, subtle lighting effects and the ability to "draw" movement in the sky, the Chinese team is expected to recreate the beauty of Eastern nature in a poetic way.

The reigning DIFF 2025 champion stated that they will continue to assert themselves at the DIFF 2026 competition.

According to reports, both teams are currently focusing intensely on the final stages, ensuring the absolute safety of the fireworks system for the opening night.

Fire prevention and control measures were also ensured in the artillery firing area.

The grandstands for DIFF 2026 are now basically complete, ready for the opening night on May 30th.
