Where will fireworks be set off on the occasion of Lunar New Year At Ty in Can Tho?

(CLO) Can Tho City People's Committee has just agreed to organize fireworks displays for the Lunar New Year at 4 locations, including 1 high-altitude location and 3 low-altitude locations.

According to information from the People's Committee of Can Tho City, on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year 2025, the city will organize fireworks displays at 4 locations.

Specifically, high-altitude fireworks will be launched at 0:00 on January 28 (this year there is no January 30) at Hoa Su restaurant (Cai Khe ward, Ninh Kieu district).

Low-altitude fireworks will be launched at 10 p.m. at 3 locations: Phan Van Tri Park (Nhon Loc 2 Hamlet, Phong Dien Town, Phong Dien District); Thoi Lai District Square (Thoi Thuan B Hamlet, Thoi Lai Town, Thoi Lai District); Vinh Thanh District People's Committee Square (Vinh Tien Hamlet, Vinh Thanh Town, Vinh Thanh District).

To prepare for the Lunar New Year 2025, Can Tho City also launched many activities, including an artistic flower street with a total length of nearly 2 km (from the intersection of 30/4 - Tran Van Hoai Street to the front of Can Tho City People's Committee).

The art flower street is expected to be held on Vo Van Tan - Nguyen Thai Hoc Street (Tan An Ward, Ninh Kieu District). The 2025 Spring Flower Market will be held at Tay Do Square - Can Tho, Urban Area 586 (Phu Thu Ward, Cai Rang District).

The expected scale is over 200 lots, stalls displaying and trading flowers, ornamental plants, bonsai of gardeners, farmers, and small traders in Can Tho city and provinces in the Mekong Delta region.

In particular, gardeners and businesses participating in buying and selling at the spring flower market are exempted from rent, electricity and water.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024, Can Tho City will organize high-altitude fireworks displays on barges to help people have a better view to enjoy the artistic fireworks display when Tet comes.
