The conference was connected online from the city bridge to 103 communes and wards, with the participation of 849 cadres, civil servants and public employees who are the focal points for performing the task of controlling administrative procedures; in charge of receiving and returning results of handling administrative procedures at the One-Stop Department and in charge of receiving and handling feedback and recommendations.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Xuan Hoa, Deputy Chief of Office of the City People's Committee, Director of the City Public Administration Service Center, emphasized that after 45 days of operating the 2-level local government model, localities have basically operated smoothly and continuously, but there are still some difficulties and problems related to administrative procedures, online public services, and data digitization.
In the spirit of “resolving any difficulties and obstacles”, the training conference aims to help officials, civil servants and public employees update new regulations, discuss and propose solutions for the administrative system to operate smoothly, continuously, effectively and efficiently. Thereby, contributing to improving the scores and rankings of indicators related to administrative reform, while improving the quality of service to people and businesses.
At the conference, officials, civil servants and public employees learned about the following topics: Publicity, review and assessment of administrative procedures; receiving and handling feedback and recommendations on administrative procedures; guidance on the process of making online payments on the administrative procedure settlement information system; and exploitation of the national database on administrative procedures.
In addition, officials, civil servants and public employees also exchanged and discussed solutions to complete targets and tasks according to Decree No. 66/NQ-CP dated March 26, 2025 of the Government on the program to reduce and simplify administrative procedures related to production and business activities in 2025 and 2026; receiving administrative procedure records regardless of administrative boundaries on the City's administrative procedure settlement system.
Speaking with the Government Electronic Newspaper, Ms. Le Xuan Hoa, Director of the Can Tho City Public Administration Service Center , said: Next week, the Center is expected to continue coordinating with the Department of Science and Technology to continue implementing the second training session with the remaining 3 topics.
