The most famous Korean girl group BlackPink with the global tour "Born Pink" and stopping in the capital Hanoi of Vietnam at the end of July has made fans look forward to the past few days.
Also from here, some problems arose while waiting for the official ticket sale date of the program.
Ticket prices are increased 3-4 times, beware of scams
Although the ticket sales date (July 7) has not yet arrived, many people have tried every way to own tickets as soon as possible. Therefore, many individuals and organizations have taken advantage of fans' trust, posting ads to sell or liquidate tickets at "sky-high" prices, even though it is not known whether these individuals are actually advertising correctly or not.
There is even an account that posted "BlackPink concert tickets for sale" for 10-25 million VND, from regular to VIP class, and affirmed that buyers can receive tickets before the opening date (July 7).
There have been reports of fans being scammed out of concert tickets.
Fans have also spent a considerable amount of money in the hope of owning tickets early. However, it is very likely that these are cases of "losing money and getting sick".
Despite many posts warning of fraudulent behavior, in many groups, audiences are still gullible, falling into scam traps, losing their deposits because they want to get tickets quickly.
In addition, thanks to the heat of the event, the service of booking/hunting tickets for hire, also known as "camping" tickets, has appeared. This is a form of queuing, standing and buying tickets for those in need. Then the "camper" will receive a fee, from 200 thousand to 3 million VND/ticket.
Cheerleading equipment is also advertised for rent with a deposit.
Even the cheap rental of lightsticks (cheering equipment), requiring a deposit of 100,000 - 300,000 VND in advance, is being exploited by bad guys for personal gain. It is very possible that when fans transfer money, the scammers will lock the SIM card, block the account...
The authenticity of the individuals and organizations carrying out these activities is something that fans need to pay close attention to. Because these groups can create websites, pages and advertise very professionally with the purpose of fraud.
There is a risk of unsold tickets because the official price is too high.
The organizer of the Born Pink World Tour in Hanoi also officially announced ticket prices for all classes on the morning of July 4, 3 days before the ticket sales opened. Also this morning, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports licensed the songs the band will perform.
Official show schedule and ticket prices (Source: ime.vn)
Accordingly, ticket prices range from 1,200,000 VND to 9,800,000 VND, divided into 7 seat classes and the program will have 13 songs performed.
According to general opinion, compared to the ticket prices for BlackPink's Born Pink in other countries in Southeast Asia, the ticket prices for the two shows in Vietnam are quite similar. However, many opinions say that this price is too expensive compared to the program with only 13 performances and lasting about an hour and a half.
Looking at the number of 13 songs, many people wonder whether that amount of money is worth the small number of songs that BlackPink performed.
The attraction is undeniable
Although there have been fans who have demanded to "turn back" before the ticket prices and song list of the group's concert, this will still be an extremely fierce ticket hunt. Because not only domestic fans but also international "fans" are extremely eager to buy tickets to Vietnam to see their idols perform.
Therefore, some notes and information below will be very useful for Vietnamese fans to easily hunt for tickets successfully and safely.
- Continue to follow official information on the band's social networking sites as well as the organizer in Vietnam.
- Tickets officially go on sale at 12pm and 2pm on July 7 on ticketbox.vn
- Tickets are sold directly by the Organizing Committee and the buyer's information is recorded, so all types of transferable tickets are invalid and may be invalidated.
- Each transaction can only purchase a maximum of 4 tickets.

- If online transactions need to be checked, ensure the exchange is with the main account, request personal information of both parties ( full name, ID number, phone number, address, ... ) for authentication and evidence.
According to the experience of the K-pop enthusiast community, all of BlackPink's big concerts held in hot spots like Bangkok, Korea... although tickets are always sold out very early, there will always be last-minute tickets because many people will change their plans or for other reasons.
Therefore, fans should stay calm, check the seller's information carefully, and then make appropriate decisions.
BlackPink's Born Pink concert will take place at My Dinh Stadium. The event organizers are expected to issue 26,000 tickets per day.
The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports also requested the event organizer to ensure security and order requirements, legal regulations on advertising, copyright and related rights, fire prevention and fighting, etc. to ensure the two shows are held safely and professionally.
