(NLDO) - A female primary school teacher in Thanh Hoa has just been disciplined and transferred to clerical work after beating a student, causing bruises on her back.
On the morning of December 31, news from Ba Dinh Primary School, Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa Province said that the People's Committee of Bim Son Town had decided to issue a disciplinary warning to teacher Vo Thi Tam for beating a student while in class.

In addition to being disciplined with a warning, this female teacher was transferred to do clerical work at the school and was not assigned to teach in class.
Previously, the family of TPN (6 years old, student at Ba Dinh Primary School) discovered that their daughter had bruises on her back and scratches on her ear. When the family questioned her, they learned that N. had been beaten and had her ear pulled many times by teacher Vo Thi Tam right in the classroom.
In response to the above incident, N.'s family filed a complaint against teacher Tam for beating their child and other students at the school. According to the parents' report, the beating of students has been going on since last year.
Immediately after that, Ms. Tam was temporarily suspended from teaching, transferred to clerical work, and not allowed to teach.
