Video: Fog blankets the provincial capital of Quang Ninh.

On the morning of February 14th, a thick layer of fog enveloped the urban center of Quang Ninh province, creating an ethereal scene.

The fog is caused by rain and increased humidity, forming a layer of suspended clouds in coastal urban areas of Quang Ninh province such as Bai Chay, Hong Gai, Ha Long, and Cam Pha.

At the same time, the fog covering the sea surface of Ha Long Bay creates a stunning image that evokes strong emotions in viewers.

According to observations by a reporter from Tien Phong newspaper, around 10 am, as the sun began to shine and the temperature rose, fog rose, forming a sea of clouds on the summit of Bai Tho mountain.

The area around the central clock tower of the former Hong Gai ward (Ha Long City).

Fog blankets the tops of apartment buildings along Tran Hung Dao Street, Hong Gai Ward.

Residents of Hong Gai ward say that the coastal urban landscape feels as if it's draped in a hazy, ethereal white mist, and Ha Long Bay, in particular, becomes more mysterious and beautiful.

The area around Bai Tho Bridge, on Tran Quoc Nghien Street, is right at the foot of Bai Tho Mountain. This is a scenic spot and one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam.

The Quang Ninh library and museum complex is shrouded in mist.

The Ha Long flower park area, located along the Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road, was shrouded in thick fog, obscuring the top of the broadcasting tower directly above the Quang Ninh Provincial Post Office .

Towards midday, the fog began to dissipate.
