Investigation and important clues

At around 9:30 a.m. on May 18, Lat Ya police received a report of a foul odor in the forest. Residents picking wild mushrooms followed the smell and discovered a human body.

Police, rescue volunteers, forensic experts and district investigators rushed to the scene. The station commander, Colonel Thechin Banjong, oversaw the operation. The officers traveled by four-wheel drive, then walked 500m into the deep forest.

The body was found lying on its side in a bushy ravine. DJ Tete was still wearing the black T-shirt and jeans he had worn the night he disappeared.

Tete's wrists were tied tightly behind his back with nylon rope. His watch was still on his wrist. Two bullet holes were clearly visible on the right side of his head. No other injuries were visible.

The body was transferred to the forensic institute. The cause of death was confirmed to be two gunshot wounds to the head.

Forensic teams examine the area for evidence. Investigators believe only someone familiar with the terrain would have had access to the area.

The final moments and clues from security cameras

The people who discovered the body said they happened to be passing through the area on May 15 while looking for wild mushrooms and got lost in the rain. One person saw what looked like a human leg but was too scared to investigate.

After seeing the news about the missing DJ, the group returned. This time, they recognized the face and clothes and called the police.

By then, the search for DJ Tete had intensified. His family reported him missing on May 15. Friends and relatives shared photos widely on social media.

Police collected video from the bar and surrounding area. The data shows DJ Tete left around 3am.

Another security camera captured the disturbing scene at 3:54 a.m. when a white pickup truck blocked the DJ's path. Of the two men who grabbed him and forced him into the vehicle, one was armed.

Kidnapping suspect and vehicle involved

The suspects were identified as Wikun (nicknamed "Kul") and Thanadet (nicknamed "King"). Both were arrested and are currently in custody but deny involvement in the murder.

Investigators tracked the black Honda Civic registered to Thanadet and saw it leave the suspects' home in Wang Dong Subdistrict at around 1:17 a.m. on May 14.

Security camera footage shows the sedan driving into the woods where the body was found. The car stopped for a few minutes before driving away. The same car was found two days later in Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province.

Even though the car was thoroughly washed, the dash cam still recorded important locations and times. Forensic experts believe the car transported DJ's body.

Motive for the crime: Dangerous feelings and revenge

According to a source, DJ Tete had a relationship with a woman named Nam - the girlfriend of a notorious drug dealer named Mui.

Mui is wanted, and has warned DJ to stay away from Nam. A few weeks ago, he sent someone to threaten him. DJ Tete refused to budge.

Investigators believe it could be a revenge plot. "We are not ruling out the possibility of drug-related crimes and romantic disputes," an officer said.

Police commitment and family pain

Lieutenant General Naiwat Phadumchit, Commander of Police Region 7, arrived at the scene and directly directed the investigation of the case. He said: "We will pursue all suspects. This is clearly a deliberate act."

DJ Tete's family is devastated that the worst has come true. His father, Wichian Khunsrichaturong, confided: "We don't want to believe that he is gone. At least now we can bring him home."

The male star's girlfriend, Prem Yuda, once advised him to stay away from Nam. "I warned him about the dangerous relationship. He said it was over between them."

Continued investigation and public response

Police are examining call records, GPS data and text messages between DJ Tete, Nam and the suspects, with more arrests expected.

Authorities warn that Mui may be hiding in Kanchanaburi or a neighboring province. He has close ties to the regional drug network.

Nam will be called in for questioning. She has not yet made any public comments about the incident.

Police are investigating the connection between the suspects. Evidence suggests this was a premeditated ambush.

Officials are urging anyone with information about the black sedan on May 14 or Mui's whereabouts to contact Lat Ya Police Station immediately.
