College of Radio and Television I launches short-term course on communication and events

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Vice Principal in charge of College of Radio and Television I, said that with the motto "VOVedu - entering the school is entering the profession", the school wishes to bring students a diverse and unique learning environment, with modern equipment to create the best conditions for them.

Therefore, College of Radio and Television I signed a cooperation agreement with Truong Thinh Engineering and Technology Joint Stock Company to exploit the potential of facilities, human resources, and experience of both sides, contributing to improving the professional qualifications of students and staff.

In particular, the two sides will jointly develop, conduct applied research, organize training, provide communication services and technology transfer, and organize production and business to serve the development of businesses and schools.

In this cooperation, College of Radio and Television I is responsible for developing training and development programs, providing training certificates at various levels and professions according to the needs of society. The school will organize short-term training courses to improve professional and research capacity for staff, managers, and researchers of both sides.

Truong Thinh Joint Stock Company annually coordinates with the school to consider granting scholarships to a number of students with excellent academic results to create human resources for the company. The unit selects from among students and graduates, giving priority to students who have graduated with good, excellent, and excellent grades from the school with appropriate professional capacity.

The company also commits to supporting the school with facilities, equipment, and human resources in training activities, teaching theory and practice in the fields of communication and technology.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Minh Hien, Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam, highly appreciated the cooperation, creativity, and new direction of College of Radio and Television I. He hoped that through this cooperation, there would be more good courses and new ways of doing things. At the same time, the output of the courses would ensure quality and meet practical requirements.

This year, College of Radio and Television I recruits 225 students for the regular college system with 6 majors: Journalism, Public Relations, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Electronic and Communication Engineering Technology, and Accounting.

For the intermediate level, the school recruits 395 students into 5 groups of majors: Journalism, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Electronic and Communication Engineering Technology, and Business Accounting.

College of Radio and Television I is a training unit under the Voice of Vietnam - VOV, with nearly 70 years of development.

The school was initially named “School of Television Technology and Profession” and was established in Tu Liem – Hanoi , aiming to exploit broadcasting equipment provided by the Soviet Union, serving the country’s propaganda needs and training human resources for the future career of Vietnamese radio and television.
