Ms. Tran Minh Tuyet - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province and Mr. Tran Cong Kha - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VRG awarded the first prize to Dong Phu Rubber. Mr. Le Thanh Hung - General Director of VRG (right) and Mr. Ha Van Khuong - Member of the Board of Directors of VRG awarded the second prize to the collectives. Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province informed all delegates attending the closing ceremony of the contest about the
socio -economic development situation of the province in 2024. Accordingly, the socio-economic situation of Binh Phuoc province continues to have stable and outstanding development, with a growth rate of 9.32%. At the same time, Ms. Tuyet Minh emphasized: "In order for Binh Phuoc province to achieve the above results, in addition to the efforts of all levels, sectors, the joint efforts of the business community and people, there is also the participation and active contribution of the rubber industry".
VRG leaders awarded third prizes to 5 companies. The Golden Hands Rubber Harvesting Competition is a unique cultural feature of the rubber industry and an annual festival for rubber workers. Through the competition, it is also an opportunity to evaluate and test the skills of workers. The competition is also an opportunity to discover, nurture and promote typical collectives and individuals in the work of exploiting and harvesting rubber latex, building them into typical core members at the base, thereby promoting the emulation movement "Practice skills - compete for skilled workers" to develop more and more.
Leaders of Binh Phuoc province and VRG awarded the first prize to contestant Lu Thi Van of Muong Nhe Dien Bien Rubber. It can be affirmed that through the movement "Skill training - Skilled worker competition", workers are the core in the production labor movements and they themselves are one of the factors that make tens of thousands of workers who continue to exploit the gardens have more efforts and try harder, even strive to become skilled workers at a higher level. This is a very meaningful movement and has really brought about very good effects and efficiency in the management of the rubber industry for many years.
The Group's leaders awarded the second prize to 2 contestants . Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Hung - General Director of VRG said: "The results of the competition have shown that skilled workers of the units are increasingly knowledgeable about professional theoretical knowledge and practical latex tapping skills. The winning contestants will continue to be trained and nurtured to become core members at the facility, typical examples to be replicated, thereby promoting the emulation movement to practice skills to compete for skilled workers, helping to improve garden productivity, labor productivity and increase income for workers".
VRG leaders awarded third prizes to contestants . Through the contest, workers with high achievements and good efforts and studies will be considered by companies for early salary increases, considered to become trainers to train skills for the unit, and to do management work at the team, group, and farm levels.
Contestants who won individual consolation prizes At the closing ceremony, in addition to awarding certificates of skilled craftsmen to all 240 contestants participating in the contest, the Organizing Committee also awarded many flower car prizes to groups with beautiful, novel and unique flower car designs; the title of Master of Rubber Harvesting to 81 contestants who scored from 96 to 99.5; the title of Golden Hand to 76 contestants who scored 100 points.
The Golden Hand title was awarded to candidates who scored 100 points . In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded additional prizes to the youngest candidate, the oldest candidate, the ethnic minority candidate in the Central Highlands, Northwest, Lao and Cambodian people with the highest score, and prizes for the oldest candidate to win the Golden Hand title and the youngest candidate to win the Golden Hand title.
Candidates received the title of Grandmaster With the excellence of 3 official candidates, when winning 300 absolute points and the highest yellow flag, the unit that posted the contest was Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Company, won the first prize for the whole group, 3 second prizes were awarded to Binh Long, Phu Rieng and Dong Nai - Kratie Rubber units, 5 third prizes went to Dong Nai, Phu Thinh, Loc Ninh,
Binh Thuan and Quang Nam Rubber.
Candidates received secondary awards. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 7 consolation prizes to Bao Lam Rubber, Chu Prong, Chu Se, Tay Ninh - Siem Reap,
Hoa Binh , Phuoc Hoa and Muong Nhe - Dien Bien.
Mr. Le Thanh Hung - General Director of VRG awarded the first prize of flower car to Dong Phu Rubber. In the individual category, this year's competition marked a surprise for many people and for the first time, a contestant from the Northern Mountainous region won the highest position at a competition when the first prize went to contestant Lu Thi Van of Muong Nhe Rubber Joint Stock Company - Dien Bien. 2 second prizes went to a contestant from the host unit Dong Phu Rubber, Tran Van Hung, and a contestant outside VRG, Le Viet Duy - Thong Nhat Rubber Joint Stock Company.
Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh - Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee spoke at the ceremony. The Organizing Committee also awarded 4 third prizes to contestants Do Viet Tuyen (
Kon Tum Rubber), Y Tha Bya (Dak Lak Rubber), Sak Sey (Dong Nai - Kratie Rubber), Dinh Thi Dinh (Dak Lak Rubber). In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 8 consolation prizes to contestants.

Contestants anxiously wait to hear the results. In his closing speech, Mr. Le Thanh Hung - General Director of VRG commented: “The 2024 contest has ended, but the echoes and effects of the contest will continue to spread to every unit, every latex harvester. In any contest, there are teams and contestants who have won high prizes; there are teams and contestants who have not achieved the desired and expected results. But the biggest goal of the contest, the most meaningful thing of a traditional contest like the Golden Hands Rubber Harvesting Contest, is not the achievements, the awards, but to create a healthy playground, a joyful and useful festival for the latex harvesters in the entire Vietnamese rubber industry”.
